Among five select individuals appointed as “Top CFO” by South Florida Business Journal, Steve Haskins received the honor in the category of “Private Company CFO (Revenue Less Than $150 Million).” Steve has been CFO and treasurer of Kaufman Lynn for the past eight years and has “enhanced the company’s financial accountability, creating greater efficiencies, cost savings and increased status with the firm’s bonding company.”

SFBJ held an award ceremony on Jan. 29 at the Design Center of the Americas in Dania Beach to recognize the region’s top CFOs. Nominations for the awards were solicited in the newspaper and online. Once nominated, individuals were invited to fill out applications and provide other supporting information, including charitable and professional association activities. Completed applications were evaluated by members of the Business Journal’s editorial staff and outside advisors.
