Whit Forehand
Whit Forehand is managing partner of DGLF CPAs & Business Advisors’ office in Orlando, Florida. Whit has 25 years of accounting experience, focusing exclusively on construction and related issues since 1993. His specific areas of focus in the construction industry include financial statement analysis, surety bonding issues, claim documentation and consultation, accounting-related litigation support, and merger and acquisition consultation. Whit is well known for his advice to contractors about dealing with economic downturns.
Whit works with large and small construction clients throughout the state of Florida and across the United States. He works on both financial and tax matters with his clients. Whit and DGLF are well-known by the construction and surety industry in Florida. He has also spoken at many times at seminars and trade association meetings regarding construction accounting and taxation issues, and dealing with economic downturns. Whit has authored numerous articles about construction accounting and financial management issues and serves on the editorial board of The Journal of Construction Accounting and Taxation.
Whit performs claim documentation for public and private entities throughout the United States. His claim work experience includes documentation cases on large multi-party claims for several Fortune 500 companies including GE, Siemens and Honeywell. He helped speed the settlement in most cases and assisted all sides in reaching a clear understanding of the costs and financial issues involved.
